A complete picture of Zanzibar: A 4-days stay combining the island’s paradise beaches with the most famous sites and tours.

Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar

Meet your guide for a short briefing and transfer to Stone Town . Take your time to rest or enjoy a walk through the narrow winding streets of Stone Town. After breakfast your guide will meet you for a historical walking tour through Stone Town. Your driver will then take you the short distance into Stone Town (a UNESCO world heritage site) . You will be taken along many of the town's narrow streets where you can get a feeling for the old colonial & Arabic architecture, that are so prevalent throughout. You will visit landmarks such as the old fort, the House of Wonders, the fish market and the

former slave market site where your guide will tell you the history of slave trade in Zanzibar. After the tour there is an opportunity for guests to do some shopping in their own time. Overnight in your town hotel based on Bed & Breakfast


Day 2: Spice plantation Tour

Our Representative will take you to the spice farm where you will have a walking tour with our guide for almost two hours. You will be shown all the interesting spices such as nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, turmeric, lemongrass and other types of spices and fruits endemic to Zanzibar. Your guide will explain how to grow spices and the various dishes they're suited to. Watch a 'coconut climber' climbs up a coconut tree and bring down coconuts for you to sample. There are also some seasonal tropical fruits for you to taste at the end of the tour and of course spices are available to purchase.


Day 3: Boat tour to Prison Island

A relaxing day out on the Indian Ocean, on a small Island to the west of Stone Town, famous for it's giant tortoises and beautiful peacocks. Changuu, which is the local name of this little Island, Prison Island: this island has a lot of history, it was a private place of detention for slaves in 1883 when a jail was built on the island, thus the name "Prison Island". The jail was never used and the ruin can still be seen. The island has become a small tourist resort, where you can relax on the beach and view Stone Town. You can also see the famous giant tortoises.

Day 4: Kizimazi Dolphin Tour

Kizimkazi is located in the southern most point of Zanzibar and is reckoned to be one of the best locations for spotting Dolphins. On this tour, guests get the opportunity to swim and snorkel with schools of Dolphins. Bottlenose and Spinner dolphins are the 2 types of dolphins to be found in Kizimkazi.


Day 5: Day for water lovers

A day for water lovers. Safari Blue starts from the fishing village of Fumba, where you board a traditional wooden dhow and set off to explore Menai Bay. This conservation area consists of a number of uninhabited islands, pristine coral reefs and sandbanks, perfect for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Lunch is served on one of the deserted beaches, offering fresh juices, salads and a selection of sea fruits. While returning to the shores by traditional lantern sail, enjoy the full splendor of the African sunset. Dinner and overnight in the beach resort.


Day 6: Uroa village tour

Time to find out how local life is at the ocean. During a half day tour to Uroa at the east coast you will discover authentic village life, including the typical housing, the Koran school, the seaweed farming women, a local dhow carpenter, and of course the main industry, the fish market, where a daily auction takes place. Afternoon free time for your last shopping’s in Stone Town. End your stay with a unique event at the Mtoni Palace Ruins. A lovely evening with living history characters of the sultan’s era, traditional Zanzibar music, a golden sunset, freshly prepared delicacies and the enchanted atmosphere of 1001 nights. Overnight in your town hotel.


Day 7: Departure to the Airport

Depending on the departure of your flight, you will be transferred to the airport for your journey home or next program.
